A family restaurant on Šalata, at the top of the Schlosser stairs. Three generations, the same recipes, and a terrace under the vines.
What this kitchen cooks
The recipes have not changed, and neither have the portions. A good part of the menu is cooked to order - for lamb, suckling pig or turkey with mlinci, call a day ahead.

The terrace under the vines
Two levels of garden terrace at the very top of the Schlosser stairs. Vlaška falls away on one side and the cathedral stands on the other - though by high summer the greenery has grown enough to hide a good deal of it.
Nobody has ever seemed to mind.
The weekday lunch
11 to 13 €
Monday to Friday there are three dishes of the day, usually 11 to 13 euros. Croatians call it a gablec. We write a new one every week, and Friday is fish.
Friday prices sometimes differ.
